Kranth respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws.
#Reporting infringement
If you believe content stored on Kranth (for example, an idea, library entry, or simulation input) infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent:
- Email:
[email protected](subject line: "DMCA Notice") - Mail: Copyright Agent, Kranth AI, Inc., c/o Stable, 2810 N Church St STE 89663, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States
Your notice must include all six elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL or sim/entry ID).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may not be actionable. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can subject you to liability for damages under § 512(f).
#What we do
On receipt of a valid notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously.
- Notify the affected user and forward them a copy of the notice.
- Document the action in the account's audit log.
#Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including:
- Your signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the location it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone, plus consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., the district where Kranth is located), and consent to accept service of process from the complaining party.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us they've filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity.
#Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Two upheld notices against an account trigger review; a third results in termination.
